Kotakeman has participated in each edition of the art festival since 2017, and has continued to produce artwork in collaboration with local areas. This time, he holds a festival that colors the place through various activities, creating a huge painting with the nature of Omachi in the background. Admiring the mountains of the Northern Alps, Yamanoe Matsuri seeks the place where a mountain god resides, gathering human bodies to color paper laid on the ground through various movements such as dance, prayer, and celebration. Details of the festival are displayed in the gym of Rurban Nakatsuna.

Began artistic creation in 1999. KOTAKEMAN has developed many projects with “self” in the title, such as Self House, in which he converted his own residence into an artwork over a ten year period, and Self Festival in Shin-Sekai in Osaka, with the concept of “adore yourself.”
