Play with Water “The Theatre of Light”
Takahito Kimura(Japan)
The artist creates opportunities for human beings to relate to and engage with water and the environment with water and nature under the theme “water” which has shaped Omachi City. In the abandoned house standing by Lake Kisaki, the upper floor is “a play space with lookout” where visitors can spend time enjoying the expressions of the surface of the transparent lake. The ground floor is “a place connecting water and human” providing a workshop and community space where ideas of playing with water are organised. “The play area” to enjoy with five senses (seeing, touching, listening, smelling, and eating) along with the artist will connect Lake Kisaki with human and human with the earth.
