The artwork is presented at “house of somabito,” a small working shed set up in the forest in the national park for people working in the mountain. Taking inspiration from little plants in the forest, the artist creates sculptures of imaginary plants from glass and brass and decorates the forest. She aspires to revitalise traditional crafts in Finland and works with local glassblowers. She hopes to recreate the magical experience of wonder that small children feel in nature for adults to re-engage with.

Born in 1981 and lives in Finland. Artist / designer. She is known for her "Dialogue" series, which combines strong glass with delicate brass, and for sculptures classified as mobiles and stabiles.
