The Cristal House

With the motif of the historical 'salt road,' this work is a sound installation consisting of mechanical figures, and the entire warehouse becomes a gigantic music box. A rain stick vibrating and turning the sound of rain into the sound of waves on the beach; a piece of cloth making the sound of the wind that expresses the transition of space from beach to mountain and the change of seasons; two pairs of birds that change their colours between summer and winter like thunderbirds; human figures running with a fish and pulling heavy salt; and a band leader monkey. The humourous and precision-engineered device and sound express the distinctive time and space of the region.
