Yosuke Yamashita（Japan）

Born 1942 in Tokyo. Currently resides in Tokyo. The Yosuke Yamashita trio formed, and its free-form energetic performances had a huge impact on the jazz world. He has broadened his performances by working with all different types of musicians, from Japanese taiko drums to symphony orchestras as well as top jazz artists all over the world. In 1988, he formed Yosuke Yamashita New York Trio, and has continued to perform in Japan and around the world.
