Memories of Water
Aleksandra Kovaleva & Kei Sato / KASA(Russia,Japan)
A sculptural work expressing the motif of the water of Lake Nakatsuna, the middle of the three Nishina lakes. Looking something like a cloud or river, or a leaf or tree, or a butterfly – the impression elicited by the ungraspable figure shifts depending on when and where you are looking at it, and always varies. The lake sinks into stillness, and the work is reflected in the mysterious mirror-like scenery like a requiem to life being slowly lost.
