Mum & Gypsy ✕ minä perhonen（Japan）
A collaborative work between a theatre company “Mum & Gypsy” and mina perhonen. “Mum & Gypsy” has drawn attention through presenting their works in various ways including collaborations with artists in different disciplines. mina perhonen is a fashion brand led by Minagawa Akira, a visual director of the festival. A weekly letter which mina perhonen has delivered since 2011 has captured feelings of “being here". Fujita Takahiro from Mum & Gypsy chooses and composes words accumulated for 10 years from the Letter and presents them as a theatre performance in a theatre surrounded by trees.

A collaboration between Mum & Gypsy, led by theatre play writer Fujita Takahiro and mina perhonen. Through a collaborative work “Throw Away Your Books, Rally in the Streets” in 2013 and 2015 (Written by Terayama Shuji. Script written and directed by Fujita Takahiro. At Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre). They have also presented “Letter” as a fringe project to “mina perhonen / minagawa akira TSUZUKU” at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo (2019/2020).
