The main visual for the Northern Alps Art Festival 2024 is based on the theme of water, a characteristic of Omachi’s land and an important resource, and uses blue lines and dots to represent water seeping through the mountains, eventually becoming rivers and connecting with lakes.
This overlaps with how art connects social phenomena with the thoughts and creativity of artists, accumulating in the spirit and eventually emerging again into society as a work of art.

Akira Minagawa
In 1995, he founded “minä”, the predecessor of the brand “minä perhonen”.
He is engaged in design activities that are close to everyday life, such as textile design using mainly hand-drawn patterns, clothing, furniture, tableware, and spatial direction for stores and accommodations. His main publications include “Minagawa Akira Illustration Collection: picture of the day”, “Letter”, and “Live, Work, Make.”, and his main exhibitions include “Minä Perhonen / Minagawa Akira Continues”.
