リー・クェイツィ Lee Kuei-Chih 台湾

1979年に台湾の雲林県に生まれました。2003年に国立台湾芸術大学の美術学科を卒業しました。2009年には、さまざまな国際展示会やアーティストレジデンシープログラムに参加するようになりました。

彼は大学時代から自分の作品を作るために自然素材を使い始めました。さまざまな性質の特定の場所で彼はインスタレーションの一部になるために土着の有機素材を選ぶ。同時に、彼は写真とビデオで創造の過程を記録します。彼のランドアートインスタレーションは時間と自然の流れを彫刻しました。これらの屋外インスタレーションは彼が人間、自然と環境の間の関係を探求することを可能にします。 クェイツィの作品は周囲とコミュニケーションを取り合い、共存しています。サイト自体は彼の一時的な作品の最も重要な要素の1つです。彼はインスタレーションを自然の景観に統合させるために現場自体から材料を収集します。彼は自然の有機的なルールに従うことによってこのプロセスに直面します。有機的世界の彼の個人的な関係と見解を通して、彼は私たちにコミュニケーションの物理的労働とエレメントとの接触で私たちの魂の意識を高めるように励ましました。

Lee, Kuei-Chih (Taiwan)

Lee, Kuei-Chih was born in Yunlin County, Taiwan in 1979. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the National Taiwan University of the Arts in 2003. In 2009, he began to participate of different international exhibitions and Artist Residency programs.
He started using natural materials to create his work since university. In different nature specific sites he chooses native organic materials to become part of the installation. At the same time he records the process of creation with photographs and videos. His Land Art installations sculpt the flowing of the time and nature. These outdoor installations allows him to explore the relationship between human, nature and environment. Kuei-Chih’s work communicates and co-exist with the surroundings, the site itself is one of the most important elements of his temporary creations. He collect materials from the site itself letting the installation integrate into the natural landscape. He faces this process by following the organic rules of nature. Through his personal relationship and perspective of the organic world, he encouraged us to increase the awareness of our soul with physical labor in communication and contact with the elements.
